Chef and cooking instructor who grows her vegetables, raises her hens for eggs, makes her own maple syrup, and cans everything from tomatoes to jams and pickles, is ready to teach you techniques, dishes and the art of plating, or cook for your private party or event.
About Kelly
A classical French trained chef and graduate of the French Culinary Institute in Manhattan, Kelly has plied her craft in the kitchens of such well known venues as Gramercy Tavern and Balthazar in New York City.  She has also worked as a private chef and instructor for the last 10 years, most recently as a staff cooking instructor for Williams Sonoma.  While Kelly also holds a degree in Education, long before becoming a professional chef, Kelly was a naturally talented and accomplished home cook with a passion for local and seasonal ingredients. Prior to attending FCI, Kelly received specialized cooking instruction at Peter Kump's and ICE in Manhattan.  

Growing up in the foothills of the Berkshires, Kelly's Italian/French grandparents exposed her at an early age to the idea of home grown produce, wild caught game and fish, locally raised beef and pork, and the sensation of simple, fresh, seasonal cooking.  Her love of food is only matched by her love of home, flowers, a good glass of wine, and the simple things in life.
